Lenin’s mausoleum, on top of which the leaders greeted the military parades in the times of Soviet Union, is still regarded as a symbol of Soviet power. In this documentary by Vitali Manski, the mausoleum functions as a reference point and as a window to the surrounding society.
The film is screened in a joint screening together with the films On the Hands of Stalin and In the Garage of Berija.
Apollo awarded Reijo Nikkilä and director Vitaly Mansky will be present at the screening.
