The Forest

Artist Ion Andeescu’s painting “The Leafless Forest” is bestowed on President of Yugoslavia Josip Tito in Romania in 1947 when the country begins to fall apart. Twenty years later art critic Radu Bogdan is making a portrait of Andeescu. Not only the history of the painting hanging on the wall of Tito’s summer palace in Croatia, but also all of Yugoslavia, is being weighed up.
